Please read our terms and conditions below carefully. In particular, note that opting to receive text messages means you will be charged 12p for each message you receive. Normally you won't receive more than 2 a week.

We're just trying this out at the moment, and can't hire lawyers to write our terms and conditions.  But here's the basics:

Matchfixed is a service for reminding people about upcoming football matches.  It sends reminders to people on a regular basis.  Some people may opt to receive reminders by text message to their mobile phone.

By signing up to the service you agree that we will send you regular emails about upcoming matches.  If you opt to receive mobile alerts, these will cost you 12p each.  You can stop receiving mobile alerts at any time by texting DAY STOP to 60030, or by logging into Matchfixed and updating your profile settings.

By signing up, you agree not to use this service for sending unsolicited email messages (a.k.a. spam).

The service is offered as-is, without any warranty. We're doing this in our spare time and aren't making any money out of it.

The service is hosted on the Google App Engine service, run by Google Inc.  This means any personal data may be saved outside the UK and the EU. Be aware of any data protection implications this might have.
